People of all ages come to Swedish L'Abri from many parts of the world. Some are Christians wanting to know more, while others are searching. Then there are those who are trying to sort things out - whether spiritually, intellectually, morally or emotionally. Each student is tutored personally and given an individual study plan.

Much time is given to discussions and questions around the meal table. Students spend half of each day studying, using the close to 1,000 cassette tapes and selection of books (in both English and Swedish, with a few also in Danish and German) from the L'Abri library. The L'Abri video series are shown to fill in the historical context for today's issues and questions. The other half of the day is devoted to practical work, giving occasion to reflect on the studies and to putting theory into practice by serving each other. One day each week is designated as a "day off."

Mölle, on the southwestern coast of Sweden 30 kilometers north of the port city of Helsingborg and with Denmark visible on the horizon, sits in a setting next to the large Kullaberg nature preserve. It is famous for its rocky cliffs and scenic golf course. Swimming, diving and snorkeling in the sea are popular summer sports. There are local tennis courts, and biking trails to the surrounding villages.
